‘Enough is Enough’: NSO Group says won’t play along with a ‘vicious’ campaign

In new clarifications issued on Wednesday, and referring to media reports that certain governments across the world, including in India, had allegedly been using its hacking software Pegasus to target people journalists, lawyers and and human rights activists, Israeli surveillance firm NSO Group said that any claim that a name in the leaked list is necessarily related to a Pegasus target or Pegasus potential target is erroneous and false.

“Enough is enough,” a company spokesperson said in a strongly worded statement and added that it will no longer be responding to media inquiries on the matter and will not play along with a ‘vicious and slanderous’ campaign.
