Employee groups seek BSNL nomination for state-funded connectivity programs

NEW DELHI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) employee unions have asked the Centre to allow more state-funded telecom connectivity initiatives to the company on nomination basis, else the ongoing ambitious revival plan would be at risk.

“We want BSNL to go everywhere and more projects on nomination basis should be allowed since its relief package is at stake,” Sanchar Nigam Executives Association (SNEA) president Aftab Ahmad Khan told ETTelecom.
