Elon Musk covers up ‘W’ at Twitter’s San Francisco HQ over dispute with landlord, declares ‘problem solved’
Declaring “problem solved”, Twitter CEO Elon Musk not only shared the image of the Twitter billboard with ‘W’ almost invisible but also revealed the dispute with the landlord of the social media’s San Francisco Headquarters. According to Musk, the landlord of Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters has stated that it is mandatory to maintain the company’s name as “Twitter” and the letter “W” cannot be removed. Therefore, Musk said he and his team have resolved the issue by painting the background colour of the sign.
In replies to the same tweet, Musk also said, “They tried to muffle our titter”.
