Eden Gardens tops in 5G download speeds this IPL: Open Signal

Mumbai: Kolkata’s Eden Gardens topped the list of Indian Premier League 2023 venues on 5G availability and download speed, while the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad gave the best video streaming experience over 5G network, a report by data and insights provider Opensignal said.

Of the 12 venues for this year’s IPL, 11 have 5G coverage, the outlier being the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The Narendra Modi Stadium had the best 5G upload speed, while visitors at the Mumbai Indians’ home ground Wankhede had the best multiplayer gaming experience over 5G.
