‘Economic slowdown not a concern yet for Samsung India’

BENGALURU: The current economic uncertainty and anticipation of a slowdown is not yet a concern for Samsung India’s mobile division. Samsung is continuing to ride the growth wave in the Indian mobile market and expects to further expand its market share in the premium smartphone segment.
“The headlines around economic slowdown in India are not yet a concern for us as Samsung India mobile business continues to outperform. The Indian smartphone market is one of the key growth areas for Samsung globally. Not only do we have heavily invested in India, the India team continues to exceed expectations,” said Ranjivjit Singh, SVP and chief marketing officer, Samsung India on the sidelines of the Galaxy Note 10 series launch.
