Easing remote work norms to open more jobs, bring social impact: KPO Council

NEW DELHI: The relaxation in the framework for other service providers to deliver IT-enabled services remotely would have a massive social impact and offer more employment opportunities in tier – II and tier – III cities, the KPO Council of India said.

“This step will have a massive social impact and should add more and more jobs to tier 2 and 3 cities as well as bring more female employees into the business process outsourcing sector,” Jitendra Sharma, Secretary at the KPO Council of India said.
