E-literacy evaluation in state begins

Under Chief Minister Urban Functional Digital Literacy programme ‘Ghadbo Digital Chhattisgarh’, the online evaluation, began on Wednesday and it will continue until October 31.

For the first time in Chhattisgarh as part of creating digital awareness among the urban slum dwellers, the scheme has been launched through 36 centres across the state.

School education department Principal Secretary Gaurav Dwivedi and State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA) Director and Member Secretary S. Prakash are monitoring the implementation of the scheme.

SLMA Nodal Officer Prakash Kumar Pandey stated that under the Chief Minister Urban Functional Literacy programme, slum dwellers between 15 to 60 years, through e-educators are imparted one-month training on use of digital equipment.
