DoT withdraws provisional demand notices for 2006-07 to 2018-19: Power Grid Corp

NEW DELHI: State-owned Power Grid Corp on Wednesday said the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has withdrawn provisional demand notices served to the company with respect to license fee for the period from 2006-07 to 2018-19. The company holds National Long Distance (NLD) and Internet Service Provider (ISP) licences.

In a regulatory filing, Power Grid said the provisional demand notices towards licence fee including interest, penalty and interest on penalty in respect of NLD & ISP licenses pertaining to FY 2006-07 to FY 2018-19 have been withdrawn by the DoT.
