DoT to get 33 pc stake of Vi for Rs 16,133 cr interest dues

In a conference call Vodafone Idea Ltd on May 11, 2022 said that the telecom department has computed the net present value (NPV) on the interest on spectrum and adjusted gross revenue (AGR) on deferred statutory dues at Rs 16,133 crore. The interest has been calculated effective from January 10, 2022. The two promotors have also infused Rs 4,500 crore (Vodafone Rs 3,375 cr and Aditya Birla Group Rs 1,125 cr) at Rs 13.30 per equity share including premium, raising the two promoters’ equity to 74.99 per cent.
