DoT launches portal for centralised RoW approvals

Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched a centralised Right of Way (RoW) portal, GatiShakti Sanchar. The portal will act as a single-window clearance for tracking the status of RoW applications. It has been designed keeping in view the objectives of National Broadband Mission, which will be providing broadband infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen. Also, it will act as a robust mechanism to achieve goal of “Broadband to All” as envisaged in the National Digital Communication Policy-2018.
