DoT brings back Deepa Tyagi as senior DDG of TEC after putting wireline gear certification on hold
NEW DELHI: India’s telecom department (DoT) has brought back Deepa Tyagi as the senior DDG of its testing and certification agency, Telecom Telecommunication Engineering Center (TEC), after putting testing and certification on hold for gear vendors, including Chinese vendors Huawei and ZTE.
UK Srivastava is learnt to have got transfer orders. He was recently brought to TEC from Trai where he was serving principal advisor, looking after telecom networks, spectrum and licensing.
Tyagi was recently serving at the National Telecommunications Institute for Policy Research, Innovation & Training (NTIPRIT).
