Dixon Technologies shares climb 6%, hit 52-week high. Here’s why

Shares of Dixon Technologies (India) jumped over 6% to hit their 52-week high of Rs 6,765 on the NSE on Tuesday after the electronics goods manufacturer informed the exchanges that its wholly-owned subsidiary Padget Electronics has been awarded manufacturing contract by Lenovo for manufacturing laptops and notebooks under the Production Linked Incentive 2.0 Scheme.

The company said that it will be eligible for incentives under the PLI scheme subject to signing of a definitive agreement.

The news triggered strong buying action in the stock as the price surged amid significant volumes. Over 12 lakh shares were trading on the NSE around 10:30 am.
