Dixon Q3 net profit more than doubles on yr; outlook healthy, says CEO

New Delhi: Electronics maker Dixon Technologies has recorded its most profitable quarter ever, with net profit growing 17.6% sequentially to Rs 62 crore during the third quarter of FY21, led by strong growth in mobile phone and consumer electronics business.

Dixon’s net profit during the October-December 2020 period soared 134% from the corresponding quarter previous fiscal, according to financial results published on Tuesday.

“We delivered the highest ever revenues & profitability in our operating history in Q3. The results demonstrate the durability of our business model as well as our strong execution capability. The growth was broad based across our various verticals. We see the momentum continuing with a healthy order book in Q4 & forecast for forthcoming fiscal continues to be strong,” Sunil Vachani, CMD, Dixon told ET.
