Digital Payments

With the government announcing demonetisation on November 8, now it is focussing on digital payments. To promote this, the government has announced two lucky draw schemes, ‘Lucky Grahak Yojana’ and ‘Digi-Dhan Vyapari Yojana’ for 100 days beginning from December 25. The launched schemes are restricted to NPCI supported payment methods only which include Rupay cards, Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS). The two schemes will cost the government Rs 340 cr.
