Digital businesses offer affordability to consumers: SoftBank’s Kohli
NEW DELHI: Digital businesses offer affordable services to consumers and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative will help them grow in the next decade and they will flourish rapidly to fulfill the gap of physical infrastructure in India, SoftBank India country head Manoj Kohli said.
India is already one of the top three digital nations in the world with 750 million mobile internet users, Kohli said, and added that digital businesses are thriving in India as they offer an affordability factor over non-digital counterparts which is, in turn, driving the transition of offline businesses to online.
Tokyo-based SoftBank Group has stakes in multiple technology, energy, and financial services companies, and runs a technology-focused $100 billion-strong vision fund.
