Dial 112 response time reduced to 9.44 minutes

Working under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and adhering to his zero-tolerance policy against crimes and criminals, the Uttar Pradesh Police has significantly reduced the response time of Dial 112 emergency services over the past six and a half years, since its establishment in 2016. Before 2017, the average response time of police action during an emergency was an hour, which has now reduced to 9.44 minutes.

“Today, Uttar Pradesh is regarded as a safe state and one of the major contributors to this achievement is Dial 112, which demonstrates rare commitment and promptness on a daily basis to help people facing emergencies,” a government spokesman said here on Wednesday.
