DevOps offers highest tech pay: Study

BENGALURU: Developers working on devops earn the highest salaries in most major countries, including India, according to a study by Stack Overflow, the popular Q&A site for programmers.

The median salary for devops specialists is $125,000 in the US, while their Indian counterparts get $15,000 for commensurate skills. In the UK and Germany, it’s $60,000. The devops model involves marrying the development and operations teams – including through automation techniques – so that they work together across the application lifecycle, from development to testing and deployment.
