Dell’s UltraSharp Webcam promises to fix your grainy video calls with DSLR-like image quality
Dell has launched a new high-end 4K webcam, the UltraSharp Webcam, that can, according to the company, deliver DSLR-like image quality. With video calls dominating our work-from-home schedules, Dell’s UltraSharp Webcam comes at a good time. Dell says its designers looked at DSLR (Digital Single-lens reflex) cameras to design this 4K UltraSharp Webcam and the main goal was to create a webcam that can deliver professional-level, exceptional video quality no matter what the lighting conditions.
To deliver optimal results, the Dell UltraSharp Webcam uses the 4K Sony Stavis CMOS sensor that captures more light and helps deliver clearer video. The webcam also looks quite premium, though the design is a strong call-back to Apple’s iconic iSight webcam that was introduced in WWDC 2003 and ultimately discontinued in 2008.
