Dell reportedly laid off employees in sales department

Dell has confirmed that it will layoff employees in a fresh round of layoffs. According to an online report by CRN, the company will layoff employees from the sales department as part of restructuring and transformation.

“Some members of our sales team will leave the company. We don’t make these decisions lightly, and we’ll support those impacted as they transition to their next opportunity,” a company spokesperson told CRN.

The company has not yet not confirmed the number of employees impacted by the fresh round of layoffs. However, Dell fired nearly 6,650 employees in February this year.
