Delhi Police visits Twitter office to serve notice over toolkit

New Delhi: Two teams from Delhi Police’s special cell visited Twitter’s Delhi and Gurugram offices Monday to serve notice to its managing director over the site tagging a post by BJP spokesman Sambit Patra against the Congress as “manipulated media”.

Delhi Police had demanded an explanation from Twitter’s senior executive Manish Maheshwari over the same, but he said he was not in charge of content-related issues. Senior government officials said that Delhi Police had already issued two notices to Twitter but officials had not replied.
