Delhi acid attack: Police questions Flipkart officials, not happy with responses

Delhi Police has questioned the officials of Flipkart over the sale of acid on the platform despite a ban on it. The prime suspect in the case said that he purchased the acid from the e-commerce platform. Reports suggest that cops are not happy with the responses and the officials may be called again.

Flipkart was responding to the notice that was issued to the company on December 15. As per media reports, the police was not satisfied with the firm’s responses. It said that an Agra-based company sold the acid.

On December 14, two bike riders attacked a 17-year-old girl with an acid-like substance near Uttam Nagar minutes after she left her west Delhi home for school.
