DCC to take call on spectrum auction reserve prices in October

New Delhi:The Digital Communications Committee (DCC), the highest decision-making authority in the telecom sector, will next month decide on the reserve price for airwaves, including 5G, for auction, a top official said, adding that the sales are likely in January 2020.

Telecom secretary Anshu Prakash told reporters on Tuesday that the department of telecommunications (DoT) will take a decision on allowing Huawei to participate in 5G trials and deployment based on “national best interest.”
