Day-long workshop on NPTEL at COER

One-day workshop on National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning was organised in College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) in conjunction with IIT Roorkee on Wednesday. The workshop highlighted the modern techniques using which learning can be further advanced. Over 200 people from different parts of the country participated in the workshop and were given certificates of participation.

Presiding over the workshop, Anita Rawat, registrar of Uttarakhand Technical University, said, “Keeping in view the growing industrial needs, the methodology of teaching must be enhanced.” The director general, COER, Prof S P Gupta said that the main purpose of the workshop is to bring high quality cognitive knowledge through video audio and other methods into the practice.
