Davos meet: Karnataka to open ‘Centre for Internet of Ethical Things’

BENGALURU: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday committed to start a “Centre for Ethics for Internet of Things” at the world economic forum (WEF) at Davos, favourably responding to a suggestion in the host country of Switzerland.

The chief minister who is attending the WEF meet made the announcement at the opening of the Karnataka Pavilion in the presence of WEF managing director Murat Sönmez. The idea of the Centre, in fact, came as an impromptu suggestion from Sonmez which was instantly lapped up by the chief minister.
