With the surge in advancing technologies, there has still been a lack of communication between doctor and patient since the dark ages. Relying on legacy, technologies can result in severe miscommunication for several reasons. Information Technology in past has not focused on healthcare industry. Due to high business and profit margins with regulatory requirements that hospital run, any new technology designed to reduce patient volume is always pushed back.
