Data privacy continues to see more regulations in digital transformation: Forcepoint’s Savvides
The security challenges that organisations face have now evolved, and chief information security officers (CISO) should be a part of business decisions. In an interaction with Muntazir Abbas, Nick Savvides, Strategic Business Director, Asia Pacific at Forcepoint said that data privacy would be a more considered area in the wake of digital transformation. During the current landscape, how do you see security challenges that organisations are facing as they shift to a work-from-home environment?
The security challenges that organisations face have evolved and they continue to evolve every day. This year as a result of the current situation has accelerated. A lot of that change from a technology perspective. If you think about an organisation’s transition to the cloud and digital transformation over the last five years, many organisations were only 10% of the way through that journey. This current situation has forced them to accelerate two or three years’ worth of plans into six months because ultimately the business always wins.
