Czech search engine Seznam seeks $417 mln from Google for competition claims

PRAGUE: The Czech Republic’s top web search platform Seznam.cz said on Thursday it has claimed 9.072 billion crowns ($416.74 million) in damages from U.S. giant Google, saying it has restricted competition.

Seznam said Google abused its dominant position on the Czech market with licensed operating systems and application stores for smart devices equipped with Android operating system.
