Scan this QR code to make the payment right away!” OR “Your pension account needs a KYC update; provide your debit card details.”

Then it’s time to take action! Cybercrime has been on the rise for the past three years, and it’s crucial to stay vigilant. In 2022 alone, the cybercrime helpline – 1930 – received a staggering 70,183 complaints related to financial frauds. Between 2022 and 2023, out of the 5,091 complaints received, 2,382 were related to sextortion. Ahmedabad has become a prime target for cybercriminals.
