Cybercrime: Youth from Wayanad held

The police here arrested Shiril Raj, 29, from Mananthavady on charge of sending threatening messages to a woman on facebook.

According to the police, the accused promised to provide her proof of her husband’s wrongdoings. He had demanded her to reach a hotel room, where he would hand over the proofs. Though she ignored his message, he kept on bombarding her message box with threats. Following this, she agreed to meet him at the Palayam bus stand. The woman and her husband lodged a complaint with the District Police Chief (Thiruvananthapuram City).
