Cyberattacks on the rise: Hackers are using AI to target organisations

Check Point Research has revealed that there has been an 8 per cent surge in global weekly cyberattacks. As per the report, this is the “most significant increase in two years”.

The report also reveals that attackers have combined next-gen AI technologies with long-established tools like USB devices to conduct disruptive cyberattacks.

According to Check Point Research, the average number of attacks per organisation reached 2152 attacks in H1 2023, reflecting a significant YoY increase of 20%.
