Cyber security course creates jobs for youths
The SecurEyes Techno Services Private Limited, which has been providing training to students on cyber security under a programme named “Hackers Boot Camp”, will open a ‘Global Delivery Centre’ to provide opportunities to passed out students to work in various global cyber security projects.
The institute is imparting the certificate programme in collaboration with the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC). While the course started in April 2018, 75 per cent of passed out students have already been employed and others would be provided employment opportunities soon, said authorities.
“In today’s internet world, cybercrime is becoming increasingly common and a dangerous threat. Any service that uses IT either on the internet or internally within the organisation, become vulnerable to various attacks. Network issues, virus attacks, malware breakouts, identity thefts, hacking into important and sensitive sites and networks are on the rise. Hence professionals need to be there to check such crimes,” said the authorities.
