CSPs say stronger 5G network security capabilities needed as breaches rise: Nokia survey
NEW DELHI: Communication service providers (CSPs) across the globe stated that they require stronger 5G network security capabilities amid rising incidents of cyber breaches, according to research conducted by GlobalData, commissioned by Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia.
56% of the surveyed CSPs said they need to “substantially improve” their cyber capabilities against telecom-specific attacks whereas 68% stated they need to “sharpen their defenses” against ransomware threats, according to the findings.
