Covid-19 lockdown: Paytm revamps app with stay-at-home essential payments

NEW DELHI: Digital payments company Paytm on Monday said it has revamped its app user interface with a ‘stay-at-home essential payments’, for the convenience of consumers during the lockdown.

The platform has streamlined payments such as mobile and DTH recharge, electricity, water, gas, credit card, insurance premium so that consumers can pay while at home.

Paytm has also introduced an ‘Information and Help centre’ on its app under its #IndiaFightsCorona section to offer verified information on covid-19 directly from the government bodies and health authorities. It features their Twitter feed along with important helpline numbers.
