Covid-19: Here’s what Vodafone, Jio, Airtel are doing to provide relief

Coronavirus has brought the nation to a stand-still. The 21-day lockdown imposed on the country is unpredented and the private companies are rising to the occasion by relief in as many ways as possible. Telecom companies have opted to do their part by allowing subscribers extended validity, complimentary talk times and free incoming calls till a certain date.

Here’s what different telecom carriers are doing to provide releif:

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea is the latest in the list of carriers who have given some leeway to consumers in these trying times. The company announced they will be extending validity on prepaid plans that have been availed by low-income customers that use feature phones. The company is also providing a credited talk time of ₹10 for these feature phone subscribers.
