Coronavirus: MIB asks broadcasters, DTH operators to provide uninterrupted services

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) Saturday asked the television broadcasters and DTH operators to cooperate with distributors across the value chain to provide for the interest of viewers and public safety amid Coronavirus outbreak.

In a notification dated April 11, to all broadcasters, the notification read, “the stakeholders are advised to continue to provide uninterrupted services to their subscribers and cooperate with other players within the distribution chain in the interest of viewers and larger public safety in these difficult times.”
