Coronavirus: Amazon has these 2 important updates for its customers in India

The e-commerce giant Amazon, which stopped taking orders except for essential items earlier this week, has two new important updates for its customers in India. As per a banner running on its website: Deliveries have been temporarily paused; two, Amazon is taking orders only of essential products through pre-paid payment methods, while it works towards resuming deliveries. This means there’s no option of cash-of-delivery mode of payment available right now on the website. This seems to be in sync with ‘social distancing’ that citizens have been asked to follow to avoid the spread of novel-coronavirus.

“Considering the prevailing extensive lockdown and restrictions in movement, we have paused our deliveries,” says the banner.
