Complaint against Ola, Uber, Rapido over illegal op

The Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Bhubaneswar has filed a police complaint against Ola, Uber and Rapido companies over illegal operation in and around the city without obtaining any aggregator licence.

In the complaint lodged with the Saheed Nagar police, the RTO has mentioned that only the two-wheeler vehicles registered as transport can be used by aggregator agencies.

“But these aggregator agencies are deliberately using non-transport two-wheelers without any licence. Such illegal use of non-transport two-wheelers were reported several times, and these companies were instructed to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the State Government.
