Companies benefitting from deployment of industrial metaverse use cases: Nokia-EY report

NEW DELHI: Companies that have deployed industrial metaverse use cases are seeing notable benefits in capital expenditure (capex) reduction (15%), sustainability (10%), and safety improvement (9%) when compared to peers who are still in the planning phase, according to the findings of an EY study, commissioned by Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia.

The US (65%), UK (64%), and Brazil (63%) are currently leading the way, where companies who have plans to enter the metaverse have deployed use cases at a higher rate than others across Europe (Germany 53%), and Asia-Pacific (Japan 49%, South Korea 49%), as per the findings.
