Coal merchant demands probe into News channel investment in shell companies

Coal merchant Rakesh Ojha has demanded investigation by competent agencies regarding investments made by shell companies in channel News 11.

Ojha, owner of Shivam group of companies , had filed a case against the channel owner Arup Chatterjee of demanding extortion which has led to arrest of Chatterjee .

Talking to media Ojha levelled allegations on Arup Chatterjee that he (Arup) claims to be channel head but actually is director of shell companies that have invested in the channel.Demanding an inquiry by ED, income tax and CBI into Arup’s news channel . It’s a matter of inquiry from where he raised funds for the company as out of 10, six companies were closed within a short period of time since investments were made as claimed by Chatterjee.
