COAI says usage fee on OTTs not linked to net neutrality

Mobile phone operators have opposed the argument that a usage charge levy by them on over-the-top (OTT) communication services providers, or communication apps, hampers net neutrality. They reiterated that since the OTT service providers use telco networks to provide their services, a reasonable usage charge should be imposed.
