Cisco says driving 5G network architecture transformation

NEW DELHI: Cisco Systems, a digital communications technology conglomerate said that the company is supporting telecom carriers to bring architectural evolution in their network infrastructure to reduce cost pressures in a hyper-competitive landscape.

“We have been working with service providers on the 5G front, and are still working with some of them around the area of architectural transformation. We are helping operators reduce their cost per bit from an infrastructure perspective,” Viswanathan Iyer, President – Service Provider at Cisco APJ told ETTelecom.
