Chromebooks to get Always-on-VPN feature soon
Virtual Private Networks or VPNs are one of the best ways to stay safe on the internet. While Google’s Chromebook laptops support most VPN services. What they lack is a feature that enables them to stay connected to the service all the time. But that is about to change as Google is planning to roll out a new feature that will enable users to do that simply by toggling a button.
Android Police reports that Google is working on a special feature for Chromebooks that will give users the option to stay connected to a VPN service all the time. The publication has spotted a code in the Gerrit that brings the ‘Always-on-VPN’ feature to Chrome OS.
