China hails India’s decision on Huawei

New Delhi: China on Tuesday welcomed India’s decision to allow telecom major Huawei for 5G trials and hoped that “Chinese companies continue to enjoy open, transparent business environment and level playing field in India for winwin cooperation”.

“Glad to know all players got equal chance to participate in #5G trial in #India. A welcome move conducive to initiatives like Digital India. Hope Chinese companies continue to enjoy open, transparent business environment and level playing field in India for win-win cooperation,” Chinese ambassador to India Sun Weidong tweeted on Tuesday evening a day after India decided to allow Huawei to enter the trials.
