Child rights panel summons YouTube India official over failure to curb indecent content

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has summoned YouTube’s head of public policy and government affairs Mira Chatt on January 15 over the platform’s alleged failure to curb child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other content harmful to children.
In a letter dated January 10, NCPCR head Priyank Kanoongo has asked Chatt to be present physically at the statutory body’s office.
