ChatGPT-maker OpenAI’s new board: Who are the new directors, who’s out, and more

After five days of drama and two new CEOs, Sam Altman returns to OpenAI as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company. With Altman’s return comes new board members, throwing out the past members who fired then-and-now boss Altman. The new board of members are – Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D’Angelo, who was also a part of the previous board.

Bret Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce, has been appointed as the chair of the new board. Larry Summers served as Secretary of the Treasury.
