Chairman’s post at Trai may finally get filled

New Delhi: The top position of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), which has been vacant for over three months, may finally get filled soon with cabinet secretary Rajiv Gauba interviewing four potential candidates on Saturday, senior officials aware of the matter told ET.

“Among those interviewed include two former secretaries, one Railway Board member and a person from the Department of Telecommunications,” a person aware of the details said. The names of the potential candidates could not be ascertained.
