CG Power files application with MeitY to establish semiconductor assembly, test facility

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd on Wednesday said that it has filed an application with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India to establish an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in India. It has also seeked grant of subsidy for the project under the Modified scheme for setting up of Compound Semiconductors/ Silicon Photonics/ Sensors Fab/ Discrete Semiconductors Fab and Semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP)/ Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facilities in India.
