CESU’s telecom tower check begins

The CESU Vigilance Wing along with the Divisional Squad staffs started checking of electric meters of telecom towers under the Bhubaneswar City Distribution Division–II, Bhubaneswar area. Divisional Head Bani Bhubasan Mohanty said that the vigilance squad would check all 125 telephone towers installed in Nayapally, Khandagiri and Kanan Vihar areas on the grounds of public safety and commercial purpose.

During the checking, all the meters of the towers, meter seals and actual electricity load consumption would be verified by the squad officials, he added.

Mohanty further said that action would be taken against the violators for unauthorised load consumption which is more than the actual contract demand and breaking of meter seals and others.
