CERT-In ropes in tech giant Siemens for assistance on cyber security
National designated statutory body, CERT-In under the Union ministry of electronics and information technology, that serves as the national agency to deal with cyber security has roped in global technology giant Siemens for information security auditing services to government organisations.
According to Siemens, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has empanelled the tech company to get assistance on the cyber security front.
CERT-In is a functional organisation with an objective of securing Indian cyberspace. “The CERT-In empanelment is a matter of pride and a key milestone in our digitalization journey. Siemens’ global expertise and domain know-how in electrification, automation and digitalization are critical ingredients for providing the highest level of cybersecurity to our customers,” Sunil Mathur, managing director and chief executive officer, Siemens Limited, said.
