CEO Pete Lau announces OnePlus TV to be launched in September

OnePlus’s CEO Pete Lau has announced that the brand’s new smartTV is slated to launch in India sometime this September. Named the ‘OnePlus TV’, the model is first supposed to release in India. Meanwhile the North American, Chinese and European launches are being worked towards, he said.

Justifying the decision in his blog post, from where he announced the launch, Pete wrote, “We all know, “content is king,” which remains one of the major reasons for television’s continued relevance in our lives. Yet, the content ecosystem is quite different from one country to another.
